I've recently gotten into Homestuck, and I always said I didn't like Dave, but when Davesprite came in, it was really the only reason I took any liking to Dave. I still don't really like him, but Davesprite is still pretty cool.
But I personally think you should also try, perhaps, making a Jadesprite, if you haven't already? That would be awesome if you did, and I would love if you sent me a link! (:
